ING rooms serving more sustainable and efficient mining

An important milestone for the future of mining was recently achieved in the Coquimbo Region. Just three months after the start of work on site, our client CEIBO has successfully produced copper using its patented and innovative sulfide leaching technology.
The pilot plant, designed and manufactured entirely in Chile and including a dry area supplied by our company based on the requirements of our client CEIBO, allowed for field validation of this new solution, which delivers results with unprecedented speed and scale in the industry.

“Our goal has always been clear: to facilitate faster, cleaner, and more efficient mining. This result demonstrates that national engineering can lead this transformation,” stated the Salas ING technical team.
The technology developed by Ceibo allows for the rapid and sustainable leaching of primary sulfides, without requiring new infrastructure investments.

This progress reflects Salas ING’s commitment to being part of the Chilean-based, high-impact technological solutions that pave the way toward more efficient and environmentally friendly mining.
