With a notable participation, Salas Ingeniería participated in the 18th Expomin, the most important mining fair in Latin America, which took place from April 22 to 26 at the Espacio Riesco venue in Santiago.
During the five-day event, which brought together more than 1,000 exhibiting companies and welcomed 83,498 visitors, the Salas Ingeniería booth attracted hundreds of attendees interested in technologies for mining operations.
“We are very pleased with the interest our solutions generated and with having been able to engage directly with industry representatives about the current challenges facing mining. Expomin 2025 was an excellent showcase for how national engineering can lead innovation in the sector,” said Claudia Salas, Operations and Finance Manager of Ingeniería y Construcciones Salas Hnos Ltda.

The company’s presence at the event also included participation in business roundtables and technical meetings, where its professionals exchanged experiences with international delegations and mining company executives, in line with the focus of the congress.
The fair was positively evaluated by the authorities. The Minister of Mining, Aurora Williams, highlighted the high turnout and the global interest in the development of the sector. “It’s not just the exhibition’s convening power, but also the interest that domestic and Latin American mining generates worldwide,” she noted.
With its participation in this important international event, Salas Ingeniería reaffirms its leadership as a leading national company, committed to the sustainable development of the mining industry in Chile and around the world.
